Shipping and Returns
Our goal is to get your order to you as soon as possible.
Generally, your order will be processed and shipped the same business day (Mon-Fri) if you order by 12:00 pm PST (excluding backorder, special order or drop ship items). For in stock items, shipping time is generally 1-5 business days depending on your distance from Houston, TX.
Free Standard USPS Shipping with a purchases over $55
You will receive Free Shipping on your order shipping within the United States (oversized items such as furniture, furniture accessories, large toys and shipping to Hawaii or Alaska will be assessed an additional freight delivery charge based on freight costs incurred).
With the Free Shipping option, your order will be shipped via USPS, if you want your package insured, please select and pay for either UPS or purchase shipping insurance.
Shipping Time With Free Shipping
Shipping time is generally 1-5 business days depending on your distance from Houston, TX Special order & custom orders may require longer to ship. Special order items include large toys, furniture, some christening & custom linens. Free shipping is not available on clearance and final sale items. Free shipping is not available with any other promotions or promotional gift cards. In order to protect all parties, we reserve the right to hold orders for additional verfication.
Free shipping includes delivery confirmation but does not include insurance, if you have security concerns around the delivery of your package, please select and pay for UPS for delivery.
Hawaii and Alaska Shipping
All orders shipping to APO/FPO addresses will ship via USPS. UPS is not an eligible shipping option. Items not marked as oversized ship US Postal Service at no charge. Items marked as standard oversized ship for a flat rate of $24.95. Oversized II items and larger as well as orders valued over $150 are not eligible to be shipped to an APO/FPO address.
The Free USPS Ground shipping method does not require your signature unless your order is over $500. The shipper will scan your package as it is delivered to your door. You are responsible for your package after it has been delivered. If you are concerned about the security of your package, please make a note in the comments field "SIGNATURE REQUIRED" or purchase insurance.
UPS Guarantee: UPS shipment delivery dates are guaranteed subject to unforeseen events such as flight, weather delays and delays due to volume during peak holiday seasons. UPS will not refund in that case. Please note UPS pickup is at 5pm Mon-Fri as such the day of order or orders placed over the weekend are not placed in transit until the next full business day after pickup.
UPS Signature: A signature may or may not be required at the discretion of the UPS driver based on whether someone is available to sign and based on the security at the location A signature will be required on all orders over $500.
Transit times are provided directly by the respective carriers. We will ship your product as quickly as we can but, we cannot control the items once they have left our facility. We cannot guarantee transit times presented by USPS, UPS, FEDEX or freight carriers. We will always ship the method you chose but, we cannot guarantee the transit companies will have items to you within a certain time frame.
Please allow an extra 10 business days for processing personalized items. Most items will ship sooner but, we do quote 10 business days to allow for completion.
Our On-line Exchange Period Is 14 Days from Receipt Date
We believe that you will be very satisfied with your products and the service you receive from us. If your selection does not meet your needs, we will gladly accept exchanges of products in original brand new condition, including intact tags and packaging, within 14 days of the receipt date. We only offer merchandise credits, we do not offer refunds.
Please note the following exceptions and clarifications:
- You are responsible for shipping the item(s) back to us. If you received free or reduced cost shipping on your original purchase, shipping costs will be deducted from any credit issued.
- Cosmetics & Beauty: Products that have been tried or used or have a product seal broken are no longer in original brand new condition and are not returnable or exchangeable unless a satisfaction guarantee is offered by the manufacturer and noted on our website.
- Intimate Apparel: By law, underwear containing a crotch, bathing suits and nursing items cannot be returned once worn or tried on, unless tried on over your own underwear. Please do not wear perfume or deodorant when trying on items as they can leave marks or scents.
- Special Order, Personalizerd Items, Gift Cards, Flash Sale & Clearance Items: Items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Excluded Items: Certain items are identified on their description pages as non-returnable, non-exchangeable. Other items may be subject to specific return/exchange policies that are noted on their product description page. Such specific policies supersede this general return/exchange policy. Because they are custom made, all cribs, furniture, Inglasina, large toys, Dexton and nursery linens are final sale.
- Used/Damaged items: If a returned item shows signs of use, wear, or damage, the item will be returned to you at your expense and no credits or refunds will be issued. This policy is non-negotiable. All returned items must have original tags intact. Attempting to return a used or damaged item as new is a crime in the state of Texas and we do not take this form of theft lightly.
- Seasonal, Holiday & Formal Wear items: Seasonal & Holiday items may not be returned after the season or holiday. Formal items are not eligible for return, they are only eligible for exchange and only after obtaining approval for the exchange by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Formal wear items include but are not limited to maternity wedding dresses, cocktail dresses, childrens special occasion and christening.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards may not be returned, applied as payment on any account or redeemed for cash
Out of stock situations
We’re a working boutique and on rare occasions, for one reason or another, an item may show in stock in our system but may not be in stock. In the event that an ordered item is not available we will try our best to find a comparable item or we will refund your order.
We work fast, once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. Although it is rare that it would be necessary for Haute Mommies and Bella Babies to cancel an order, we reserve the right to cancel orders for the following reasons:
- Incorrect or insufficient billing or shipping information
- Merchandise shipping delay or out of stock situation
- Suspected fraudulent activity
To exchange an item, an authorization is required.
You must send an email to email@example.com with your name, order number, product name and reason for exchange. You will receive a reply e-mail authorization with further instructions or a decline with reason for decline. You will be responsible for the cost to ship the item back to Haute Mommies and Bella Babies in its original brand new condition and packaging, including a copy of the return (or exchange) authorization with the Return Authorization Number. You will receive a confirmation e-mail after we have processed your exchange (please allow up to 2 weeks processing time after we have received your returned item). In the event that you received free shipping, the outbound shipping fees will be deducted from your return credit.
